Sickla Köpkvarter

The modern shopping, culture and entertainment destination.

The Sickla Köpkvarter premises has over 160 shops, a museum, art gallery, library and multiplex with 2600 parking places. A new branded environment was created that had a strong visual presence, better visual focus on the entrances and a comprehensive navigation system for visitors, pedestrians, cars and streets. Light was a device used to promote safety and awareness of house and gallery entrances.

A 45 metre long and 7 metre high lit wallpaper was installed as a nod to their past textile industry heritage in the area which also helped answer some safety issues with a brighter environment for visitors. Sickla Köpkvarter has been consistently ranked in the top 3 shopping centres in Stockholm since its opening in 2005.
